Adam Hansen is a real phenomenon. When the Australian signed a contract with the former Omega Pharma-Lotto in 2011, he started an incredible performance. He took part in the Vuelta a España 2011 and he ended his record-breaking Grand Tour streak at the Giro d’Italia 2018. Adam Hansen completed an unbelievable twenty consecutive Grand Tours and in two of them, he managed to take a stage victory. In the Giro of 2013, the Aussie triumphed during the seventh stage from San Salvo to Pescara. During the Vuelta of 2014, he surprised the peloton with a late attack and managed to stay ahead of the pack in Cangas de Morrazo. Adam has ridden an incredible 27 Grand Tours and in only three of them, he didn’t make it to the finish. Hansen also won the fourth stage and the GC of the Ster Elektrotoer in 2010.
