In 2011 the former Omega Pharma-Lotto was able to sign the German world-class sprinter André Greipel. At the time, Greipel had already won sixty races including two stages in the Giro d’Italia and four in the Vuelta of 2009. In that 64th edition of the Vuelta a España, he also took home the points jersey. Up till now, André has won more than 150 races! The German from Rostock has won eleven Tour stages, one of which being the last stage of the 2016 Tour, finishing on the legendary Champs-Elysées. He also wore the German tricolour jersey on three occasions. André obtained one of his most striking victories in the Tour de Luxembourg, for the first time in his career he finished solo. He would repeat this performance on the way to Cassel during the fifth stage of the Quatre Jours de Dunkerque in 2018.
