After he was part of the U23 team of Lotto Soudal, the young Belgian sprinter signed his first pro contract with the team in 2017. Due to a knee injury, his début didn’t go according to plan. Still, Wouters showed his fast legs that year by obtaining a couple of top ten places in the Tour of Britain. In 2018, he could further progress at the side of more experienced riders. He rode together with the German sprinter André Greipel during the 4 Jours de Dunkerque. Wouters is first and foremost a sprinter, but he also dreams of the Spring Classics such as Paris-Roubaix.
