Jens Debusschere won the Tour of Flanders as a Junior and he also got second in the Junior-edition of Paris-Roubaix. These results were not left unnoticed as the former Omega Pharma-Lotto offered Debusschere a professional contract. The Belgian sprinter obtained his first pro victory in Koolskamp in 2013. One year later, he sprinted to victory in the Belgian Championship in Wielsbeke. In the tricolour jersey, he took his first WorldTour victory during the second stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico 2015. At the end of the 2015 season, Jens took some nice victories in the Grand Prix de Wallonie and the Tour de l’Eurométropole. Apart from being a sprinter, Jens is keen on riding cobbled Classics, he triumphed in Dwars door Vlaanderen 2016. The following year, Debusschere added a stage victory in the Baloise Belgium Tour and the Quatre Jours de Dunkerque to his palmares.
