Tomasz Marczyński has been a professional cyclist since 2006, but he obtained his biggest successes only after signing with Lotto Soudal in 2016. The Polish climber was able to take two stage victories in the Vuelta a España 2017. The first of two was in Sagunt where he outsprinted his breakaway companions Mas and Poljanski. During the twelfth stage, Tomasz was once again part of the breakaway, but this time he finished solo in Antequera Los Dólmenes.  Marczyński has already been the national champion of Poland on four occasions: three times on the road and once in the time trial.
