Tosh was initially a track rider. As a junior, he won several national titles and in 2008 he became the junior world champion in the points race. In 2011 he was part of the U23 team of Omega Pharma-Lotto when he triumphed in Liège-Bastogne-Liège U23. That way, he earned himself a pro contract with Lotto Belisol. In his first year as a pro, the Belgian already obtained several top results in bunch sprints. He finished in the top ten of stages in the Tour of Norway and the Tour de Pologne. Later, he sprinted to some fine results during stages in both the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España. In 2015, Tosh took his first pro victory during the Textielprijs Vichte and became second in Paris-Tours. One year later, he won the second stage of the Tour de l’Ain.
